Update: 16 March 2021 - We are now welcoming bookings from May 2021 onwards.
In line with recent government announcements we are now welcoming bookings from the beginning of May.
We will be sticking closely to Scottish government and Mountaineering Scotland guidelines for the safety of our clients and guides and have put into place a number of procedures to this effect. If government regulations in Scotland dictate that we are unable to run any days we will happily refund or rearrange any bookings made, whichever is your preference.
If you have any questions or would like to chat through options for mountain adventures or avoiding the crowds and staying safe please get in touch. For more information on our current operating procedures please see our Covid-19 page.

welcome!
At McKeever Mountain Guiding we love spending time in the mountains and on the crags. Walking, scrambling and climbing in summer and winter is where we feel most at home, and sharing these places and experiences with others is what drives us.
We specialise in providing professional mountain instruction and guiding services on the West Coast of Scotland. Based in Fort William we have an intimate knowledge of our local area working largely around Ben Nevis and Glencoe and on the Cuillin Ridge of Skye. Below is a selection of what we offer in summer and winter to inspire you. If you have mountain ambitions we want to help you achieve them.
protect our mountains
We believe strongly that the mountains and wild spaces which we love to visit must be protected and restored to their natural state for future generations to explore as we do today. That's why we have chosen to donate £10 of each instructional or guided day booked with McKeever Mountain Guiding to two charities doing fantastic work in the areas in which we operate, the Lochaber area and the Isle of Skye. Feel free to find out more below or chat it over with us during one of your days out.
